Projects will be completed between Nov. 20 - Dec. 16, 2015.
Guidelines:
- Your project must include an electronic component - it can make electricity like a windmill, or do work with electricity like a flashlight.
- You need to make your project from collected materials (with the exception of specialized electronics components such as motors or batteries). NO KITS.
- You have a maximum budget of $25.00.
- Your project should solve a problem - it may create energy, or charge a phone, or help a person with a disability complete a task. Follow your inspiration to make something of value to yourself and others.
- Check out the wonders of instructables.com. There are so many amazing projects there, just waiting for you to be inspired by them! You may work on your own or with a partner to create a project you find there.
- If you don’t want to go it alone, or if you aren’t finding inspiration at Instructables, you can do Rachel’s project with her! She’s going to make a small, table-top PVC windmill that produces 3-7 volts of electricity. Her materials cost about $20. Anyone who wants to join Team Windmill can build along with her.
